
So many people don't know that what they are eating is not healthy for them. It's not that being overweight is not good for you, it is that some people are overweight because the food they are eating is not good for them. When we go into grocery stores or just any food store in general, we always want the best looking foods like donuts, candy, and soda. These foods are not good for you and can make you very unhealthy. I am not trying to tell you what to eat, I am trying to inform you in what you should and should not eat. Now I too have a craving for not-healthy foods like donuts and lots of candy. It's totally ok to have some of it once in a while as a treat. Kids like me and you need sugar.
Some people don't have chose and have to buy the unhealthy foods because of the cheapness of it.They may not have as much money so they have to buy what they can. Most of the healthy food is expensive and too much for people to buy, which is why I think they should lower healthy food prices. I did some research on some foods that my mom buys on a food trip and I have pretty healthy foods everyday. I searched and the information said that for one organic apple it was four dollars! I know that might not seem a lot but for some people who can't pay for a few apples or bread, Its expensive.
When you buy something in the store make sure to look at the labels to make sure it does not have high fractured corn syrup because that is not good for you in any amount. Corn Syrup is a food syrup made of cornstarch and so much sugar you would not believe it. Corn syrup is bad for you in all levels, as it can cause health issues and diabetes. You can have things that have just a little or maybe no corn syrup at all! My friends and I are lucky that our parents can buy us healthy foods and just food in general! You can have sugar and sweets as long as you cut down on the sweets and keep exercising. Have lots of fruit and veggies and make sure to have lots and lots of water throughout the day. And just make sure to stay healthy!!!
