People originally used dogs for hunting and protection. Some people still use dogs as protection today such as Pitbulls and Doberman Pinschers. There are some really old breed dogs such as the Saluki the oldest breaded dog and the Chow Chow. Really funny name for a dog. When Dogs drool its because it helps with there digestion and when they eat! If you have ever seen the movie Beethoven you can tell he drool so much. Not many dogs drool like that because those dogs are very big and needs more saliva to digest food.

Dogs Also Dream! I actually did not know that but i realized that when my dog is sleeping i can see her moving and yelping. They dream about there day and what happens throughout their day. There is lots more you can know about dogs but this is the majority.Dogs have really good hearing and scent. They can here things humans can not even hear. There smell is stronger than humans by 70%!

Dogs have some odd things they do and one of those things are rolling in other animals poop! This was inherited by wolves to hide their scent from pray. They do this to there own and other animals poop.Even though dogs are sometimes gross they are mostly cute and cuddly. If you don't give your dog competition, attention or even more your dog will grow sad and even angry. They are like humans they want attention and to be loved.

Dogs should get adopted 8 weeks and older younger then that they should stay with their mother. When dogs were originally not breeded they were meat eaters and would travel in packs. They would travel in packs so pray would not come for them. Even though they were almost wolves. Bears would hunt them because they were not as strong as many wolfs.

Dogs LOVE being outside and they were born to be outside in the woods and exploring. I actually have a really big backyard and lots of woods for my dog to explore. It's good for dogs to get exercise and to get the sun on there body.
